Dear Family and Friends,                          Monday, June 23, 2014 at 11:33 a.m. (EDT)

This last week was a pretty good one.

On Monday we stayed busy with teaching and doing service. We taught a mother and daughter on Monday.

On Tuesday we went to Portland for a Zone Meeting and an interview with the mission president. After the meeting we went on exchange. Elder Dean came back with me to Yarmouth and Elder Thomas headed up to Brunswick with Elder Gardner.

On Tuesday night we did service for a new investigator. She really enjoys having us over to mow her lawn and she feeds us. She didnt read in the Book of Mormon so we read the introduction with her.

On Wednesday me and Elder Dean worked in Durham. We did a lot of tracting. We exchanged back in Brunswick at Taco Bell. Elder Gardner and Elder Thomas were riding their bikes down Main Street so Elder Dean yelled at them. He yelled, "Pedal faster!" We always get yelled at as missionaries from people in cars. Usually they yell something like, "Jesus isnt real!" or "Hail Satan!" It is really annoying so me and Elder Dean took our opportunity to also yell at a pair of missionaries :)

On Thursday we taught mother and daughter again. They are really doing well. Heather was a little confused with the story of Nephi killing Laban in the first part of the Book of Mormon, so we explained that. Our neighbor's battery gave out so we helped him replace it. He gave us some salmon since we helped him.

On Friday we helped with a community meal. It ended up being a great service and we met a lot of people. I like doing service in the community because it gives us the chance to meet people and they realize that we are normal people just doing missionary work.

On Saturday we taught a less active member. It went well. Afterwards we went to the nursing home to give an elderly lady a blessing. She is 95. She tried to get us to help her break out.

Well i got to go, someone wants to get on the computer!
